Salman Khan has arrived in Abu Dhabi to begin shooting his much-talked about upcoming film Bharat.

Superfan twitter user @Khusbu_Salman12 posted a video of the star being driven on a buggy toward passport control at Abu Dhabi airport.

A second post sees him posing with a member of Etihad's cabin crew while still on the flight.

Last week Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted photos of some of the locations that they would be filming in saying, "All set for Abu Dhabi, next destination..."

We couldn't decipher the locations the shots came from, but the mountains and the fact Zafar mentioned Abu Dhabi has us thinking it could be Al Ain.

Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif (she took over from Priyanka Chopra who dropped out of the movie following her engagement to Nick Jonas). The movie is an adaptation of Korean film An Ode to My Father and is being produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Reel Life Productions.

Bharat has been filming in Malta, and will reportedly shoot in Spain and parts of New Delhi and Punjab.

This isn't the first time that Khan, Kaif and Abbas have spent time in the UAE working on a film - in 2017 they spent 65 days shooting smash hit Tiger Zinda Hai here.
