Stars Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller, Madeleine Stowe and the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson were in town to attend the Brilliant is Beautiful event in Dubai on Friday, which raised funds for both Dubai Cares and Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ). The gala dinner and live auction took place at the Grand Millennium in Business Bay.
The money raised will go towards education efforts around the world: Dubai Cares focuses on providing quality education for young people in developing countries; while APJ runs scholarship funds for young women around the world, including in Pakistan, Uganda, Peru and Haiti.
