Fans of Salman Khan will be happy to hear that Da-Bangg: The Tour-Reloaded is making its way to the UAE this March, with a live concert in Dubai on March 15.
As well as Khan, Bollywood stars Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez are all expected to star. The concert will take place at 9pm (doors open at 7pm) at Dubai Festival City Mall, South Festival Bay.
The audience can expect a big-budget production, with big dance numbers, a fire show, aerial acts, vibrant costumes and pyrotechnics, as well as a "greatest hits" medley of songs and dances.
There is even a chance for Dubai residents to get on stage with their Da-Bangg heroes.
Children aged six to 15 can audition to appear in the junior category show, and anyone over 15 years can audition to be in the senior category. Auditions will be held from February 22 at Dubai Festival City Mall. Visit www.orbiteventsuae.com for more information.
The Da-Bangg legacy
The Da-Bangg: The Tour-Reloaded is based on Khan's 2010 movie, Da-Bangg, the story of a police officer, facing pressure and challenges from his family, as well as gangsters and politicians.
The movie already has a sequel, Da-Bangg 2, and Da-Bangg 3 has been announced for 2019 – all of which star Khan as Chulbul Pandey.

What is the FNC?
The Federal National Council is one of five federal authorities established by the UAE constitution. It held its first session on December 2, 1972, a year to the day after Federation.
It has 40 members, eight of whom are women. The members represent the UAE population through each of the emirates. Abu Dhabi and Dubai have eight members each, Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah six, and Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain have four.
They bring Emirati issues to the council for debate and put those concerns to ministers summoned for questioning.
The FNC’s main functions include passing, amending or rejecting federal draft laws, discussing international treaties and agreements, and offering recommendations on general subjects raised during sessions.
Federal draft laws must first pass through the FNC for recommendations when members can amend the laws to suit the needs of citizens. The draft laws are then forwarded to the Cabinet for consideration and approval.
Since 2006, half of the members have been elected by UAE citizens to serve four-year terms and the other half are appointed by the Ruler’s Courts of the seven emirates.
In the 2015 elections, 78 of the 252 candidates were women. Women also represented 48 per cent of all voters and 67 per cent of the voters were under the age of 40.
How to apply for a drone permit

- Upload the training certificate from a centre accredited by the GCAA
- Submit their request
What are the regulations?

- Ensure maximum flying height of 400 feet (122 metres) above ground level is not crossed
- Users must avoid flying over restricted areas listed on the UAE Drone app
- Only fly the drone during the day, and never at night
- Should have a live feed of the drone flight
- Drones must weigh 5 kg or less
Terror attacks in Paris, November 13, 2015
- At 9.16pm, three suicide attackers killed one person outside the Atade de France during a foootball match between France and Germany
- At 9.25pm, three attackers opened fire on restaurants and cafes over 20 minutes, killing 39 people
