For those who wanted to experience a unique Ramadan, Qasr Al Hosn hosted a holy month celebration at the weekend. The event at the Abu Dhabi landmark, the oldest stone building in the city, showcased authentic Emirati traditions including dancing and games.
Ayala, a traditional Emirati dance performed with sticks, was on display. There were also crafts and pearl-farming demonstrations. Oud players performed throughout the evening.
Qasr Al Hosn is one of Abu Dhabi’s most renowned historical buildings, with parts of the site dating back the 1760s.
