Stunning images from leading sports photojournalists at Agence France-Presse (AFP) are on show at the moment in Dubai’s Sofitel hotel on JBR. After a summer of sports, with the Olympic Games in Rio and the UEFA European Cup in France, AFP published more than 70,000 pictures using, at times, robots to take underwater pictures during swimming events and radio-controlled trigger devices to take unique angles for athletics.

The exhibition, co-organised by Alliance Française Dubai and Agence France-Presse, offers a selection of these images and runs at Plantation and The Hub, Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach Residence.

* Exhibition runs until October 20
