A showcase of artworks by students in Abu Dhabi is now showing in Saadiyat Island. The week-long exhibition is aimed at promoting creativity and artistic innovation by giving students from across schools from Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) the inspiration to create work that will be exhibited in public.

The students were asked to create artwork that reflects the cultural and aesthetic diversity of civilisation in the UAE and to take inspiration from elements of heritage such as desert landscapes, nature and historic sites in Al Ain. Students participated in many workshops prior to the exhibition and were also exposed to the international high quality of art works such as those in the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi show.

The exhibition is held in collaboration with ADEC and Abu Dhabi Tourism and Cultura Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and runs until May 20.
