Patrick Stewart and Adrian Brody took some time out from the Dubai International Film Festival (Diff) to pay a visit to Louvre Abu Dhabi. Stewart is in Dubai to receive a career achievement award at DIFF and was pictured on Louvre Abu Dhabi's Instagram feed with Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody, and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Director General of the Department of Culture and Tourism.

Brody also posted photos of the visit to his Instagram page.

Brody, evidently an art fan, took a picture of himself posing with Salvator Mundi by Leonardo da Vinci last month. The painting has been acquired by the Department of Culture and Tourism. The 500-year-old oil painting of Jesus went under the hammer in New York for a record-smashing $450 million including fees, four times over its pre-sale estimate and more than double the old mark for any work of art at auction. The painting, sold at Christie's New York only last month, is a game changer for the museum.
