Three new murals went up at City Walk in Dubai this week as part of the Dubai Walls project. The first is a spray-painted mural by UK street artist D*FACE that is shown beneath the mural already in place by the same artist. The artwork shows an image of a woman saying “Nothing Lasts Forever”
The second is a wall-carving by Portuguese artist Vhils, inspired by the photography of Wilfred Thesiger who famously captured Bedouin portrait in the 1950s. A third wall is adorned with large scale photographs of 10 miniature street installations. The images were created and captured by British artist Slinkachu during his visit to City Walk and they play with the notion of scale.
