This weekend, as part of the global intiative Worldwide Instameet 12, the Sharjah Art Foundation invites the local instagram community to the east coast of the UAE. #WWIM12 is a hashtag that social media followers around the world are using to arrange community meet ups. Sharjah Art Foundation are providing transport from Sharjah Art Foundation Art Spaces, Sharjah, and Box Park, Dubai to go on a road trip to Kalba, where you will have the opportunity to visit Planetarium, the wonderful art installtion by Adrian Villar Rojas that was commissioned for Sharjah Biennial 12 earlier this year at Kalba Ice Factory. Afterwards, the visit will move on to the Al Qurm mangroves nearby.

This is a great chance to meet photographers and connect with the local Instagram community.
