After spending a year in Dubai last year at Tashkeel, eL Seed will be coming back to set up permanent residence in the city with a studio space in Alserkal Avenue. If you are a fan of his work, then you should pay a visit to Mall of the Emirates this weekend to see his temporary studio that is set up in the Central Galleria, part of the mall’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
Harpers Bazaar Art Arabia invited the artist to come to Dubai for the event and last night, he was in conversation with Rebecca Proctor, the editor of the magazine explaining his work in more detail and talking about the genre of calligraffiti, for which he has become internatinonally renowned.
