The Dubai-based artist eL Seed is finally making his mark in a public area in Dubai. After living in the city for three years, the artist who is known for his large-scale works of free flowing calligraffiti, has picked up his spray cans and is currently working on a huge wall in Dubai’s City Walk vicinity. Until he finishes the piece - predicted to be sometime next week - eL Seed can be spotted on top of an elevated crane painting the side of the Green Planet, Dubai’s artificial rainforest, that opened this summer in Dubai.
He is painting the words of a poem written by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid about keeping a positive spirit and is hoping that the leader himself will come down to see the mural and paint the final section.
