Art of Nature exhibition was great success

More than 1,300 people took part in the educational programme that accompanied Abu Dhabi Festival 2017’s headline exhibition, The Art of Nature. According to statistics released today the exhibition, which marked the 20th anniversary of the Environment Agency–Abu Dhabi (EAD) and featured 40 artworks, including new commissions, by an array of Emirati and UAE-based visual arts practitioners, brought members of the community from all walks to life to engage with the artworks across a variety of events such as panel discussions, guided tours and workshops.

Held at Umm Al Emarat Park, The Art of Nature exhibition, which explored the country’s animal, marine, land and plant life, also welcomed more than 5,577 visitors throughout the month long show. (March 23-April 23).

The exhibition, organized by Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation, highlighted the exceptional species and habitats unique to the UAE and celebrated the nation’s striking landscapes and spectacular flora and fauna. It also celebrated the diversity of species and ecosystems found in the UAE, from its coastlines and archipelago of islands, to the mountainous areas in the north and east.
