Here is Roupen Kalfayan from Kalfayan Galleries, Thessaloniki, Greece

-How did you find the fair?

Very good. We were early supporters of the fair, this is our seventh time here so yes, it is always good experience for us.

-What was the best bit?

We have had many enquiries about all our pieces, especially the vases by Raed Yassin. He won the Abraaj Prize two years ago and these are derivatives of the ones he made then. His embroidered works have also been popular.

-What was the worst bit?

The fact that none of our artists could be with us for this fair. It was a shame because things have been really positive and it would have been nice for them to experience that.

-Will you be coming back?

Of course. For us, it is a very important fair in the art fair calendar. We couldn’t do without it.
