There is just one more week to go to apply for the third edition of the Explorations in the Arts programme. The chance to complete a summer internship with an arts organisation in the UAE and then travel to Berlin for an eight-day study tour in August is open to a handful of young Emirati nationals and long-term residents’ of the UAE who are studying at university.

Hosted by the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, the programme is aimed at raising awareness and knowledge around the future of arts and creative industries in the UAE.

“The program is particularly aimed at individuals who are considering a career in the creative field, and would benefit from being exposed to the diverse practices in the U.A.E. and abroad,” says Khulood Al Atiyat, the Foundation’s Manager of Arts, Culture & Heritage.

The program is open for UAE nationals and long-term resident university students. Applicants should have good academic standing, possess strong English language and have an interest in pursuing a successful career in the UAE.
