The next edition of the Campus Art Dubai (CAD) programme is open for applications. Campus Art Dubai Core is open to serious, career-oriented UAE-based artists, writers and curators, who will attend two days of critiques, workshops and seminars each month. In total, CAD Core participants are provided with around 90 hours of teaching by international and local visiting tutors. Leading the course are Associate Professor of Anthropology and Urban Studies at the Pratt Institute of Art and Design Uzma Z. Rizvi, Sharjah-based critic, curator, and Visiting Instructor at Pratt Institute Murtaza Vali and UAE-based artist and editor-at-large at Dubai-based publishing practice THE STATE, Lantian Xie. Participants receive guidance and mentorship from tutors, work on their own projects throughout the course, and develop a group project that’s presented at Art Dubai in March 2017.

Deadline for the application is September 15. www.artdubai.ae
