I have noticed that being a journalist means coming up with new ideas all the time. I was attending an event in Dubai to interview a fashion designer, when I happened upon the live launch of a beauty product. The founder showed up, and suddenly the crowd gathered and I was among them, and so I could not help but write about it the following day. You have to be spot be and actually out there, and it’s a great feeling.
On another matter, I had to move my little boys to a different nursery whose timings work with my hours in the office. Sacrifices have to be made when it comes to stepping up your performance at work. The older one loves the new nursery because it offers a large outdoor play area. And, of course, the younger one, being a baby, did not notice any difference. Bless them.
