RAK Hospital distributed free vision screening vouchers and more than 500 food packages to taxi drivers in the Northern Emirates as a show of appreciation.
“It is largely because of them that we are able to manage smooth travel between our destinations, while they slog through long hours in extreme weather,” said Dr Raza Siddiqui, chief executive of Arabian Healthcare Group and executive director of RAK Hospital. “Distributing food packages and vision screening vouchers is but a small token of appreciation by RAK Hospital to these unsung heroes.”
