Own your favourite celeb’s jeans: Catawiki’s Jeans for Refugees collection

Online auction house Catawiki today launched its Jeans for Refugees collection, which allows buyers to bid for jeans donated by 100 celebrities, including Kate Moss, Sharon Stone and Benicion Del Toro. Proceeds go to the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The IRC provides support to millions of refugees around the world every day.

The scheme is the brainchild of fashion designer Johny Dar, and bidding has already begun on 15 initial pairs of jeans donated by Bidding has started with 15 initial pairs available from Sharon Stone, Anna Wintour, P!nk, Elle McPherson, Emma Watson, Lily Allen, Eva Longoria, Heather Graham, Kate Moss, Joan Smalls, Sofia Coppola, Rachel McAdams, Zoe Saldana, Tal and Jessica Hart.

New lots will be added over the course of the promotion, which lasts for the next 100 days. The promotion will conclude with a week long exhibition at London’s Saatchi gallery and a Gala Dinner on the final evening (date TBC).
