One of the most illustrious figures in American fashion, in his lifetime Oscar de la Renta dressed everyone from film stars to first ladies. For fall/winter 2015, De la Renta’s handpicked successor, the British designer Peter Copping, has initiated a youthful new direction for the brand. The collection consists of delicate chiffons, soft silhouettes and rich tweeds that weave their way through coats and skirts, in designs that pay homage to the brand’s rich legacy but also offer a glimpse of things to come.
