It’s no secret that many women love to experiment with their hair — from temporary hair styles like up-dos, braids and buns, to colour trends like ombré and balayage. These treatments can be taken out, redone, dyed and coloured over. When it comes to getting haircuts, however, there’s often a long wait for the hair to grow back. That’s where hair extensions come in handy.
While the thought of clipping someone else's hair into your own can sound macabre, it's actually a popular procedure for women looking for long, thick hair that looks real and natural. UK-based hair salon and product brand Hershesons has launched a range of hair extensions made from authentic, ethically sourced human hair. While one-piece clip-in extensions are available, a truly dramatic transformation will only be achieved with one of the brand's 10-piece clip-in sets. The twenty-ich clip gives a full, thick appearance, and since there isn't any glue required, the brand claims that the wearer won't face any damage to their actual hair.
The images in the above gallery depict the transformation given by using a 10-piece set.
Single clip-in hair extensions cost Dh295 and 10-piece clip-in sets cost Dh1,395. Hershesons human hair extensions are available at Sephora stores at The Dubai Mall, Citywalk Dubai and Mall of the Emirates.
