Spring/summer collections in fashion are normally all about bright colours and happy ideas. While that seems to be fairly thin on the ground this season (which is awash with dark colours and heavy fabrics), at least we can rely on Charlotte Olympia to stick to the timetable and embrace the fun.
Known for not taking itself too seriously, Charlotte Olympia is all about upbeat shoes and accessories with themes such as kittens, spiders and cowboys. This spring/summer 2017, it is perhaps feeling a little more health-conscious, and as such has opted for piles and piles of colourful and delicious-looking fruity motifs. Key rings are slices of juicy watermelon, clutches are covered in a cheery fruity print, and shoes are a glorious patchwork of pineapples, bananas and strawberries, atop chunky wooden platforms.
Although they may not be exactly ideal for taking a jog in the park, we are hoping they still count toward our five-a-day.
