Ever wondered who is behind the costumes of some of the world's biggest stars? We catch up with Aldene Johnson, Florence's stylist and contributing fashion editor of Vice magazine to find out...
1) How did you begin working with Florence Welch? The very first thing I did with Florence was when I styled her for her debut album cover 'Lungs' ... the rest as they say is history.
2) How do you choose the designers you work with? It all really depends what I'm working on, in that it's event specific. I look at which designers work best for either stage, red carpet or day looks. I obviously have my favourites, but it's more about if the piece or look works and if I fall in love with it rather than only looking at certain designers.
3) Why did you choose Marina Qureshi for her Dubai performance? I was first drawn to Marina Qureshi when I came across the incredible black dress from her Fall 2012 collection that Florence wore for her Reading and Leeds performances last year.
4) How did you decide on the particular dress for the Dubai show? The bespoke dress made for Florence was a combination of two looks I really loved from the current collection.
5) You have created an otherworldly character in Florence with an ethereal style - how and why did you decide to go that way? Florence is an an incredible person to dress and together it wasn't so much a decision we made, but more a natural organic progression.

Top tips
Create and maintain a strong bond between yourself and your child, through sensitivity, responsiveness, touch, talk and play. “The bond you have with your kids is the blueprint for the relationships they will have later on in life,” says Dr Sarah Rasmi, a psychologist.
Set a good example. Practise what you preach, so if you want to raise kind children, they need to see you being kind and hear you explaining to them what kindness is. So, “narrate your behaviour”.
Praise the positive rather than focusing on the negative. Catch them when they’re being good and acknowledge it.
Show empathy towards your child’s needs as well as your own. Take care of yourself so that you can be calm, loving and respectful, rather than angry and frustrated.
Be open to communication, goal-setting and problem-solving, says Dr Thoraiya Kanafani. “It is important to recognise that there is a fine line between positive parenting and becoming parents who overanalyse their children and provide more emotional context than what is in the child’s emotional development to understand.”

Moment of the day When Dilruwan Perera dismissed Yasir Shah to end Pakistan’s limp resistance, the Sri Lankans charged around the field with the fevered delirium of a side not used to winning. Trouble was, they had not. The delivery was deemed a no ball. Sri Lanka had a nervy wait, but it was merely a stay of execution for the beleaguered hosts.
Stat of the day – 5 Pakistan have lost all 10 wickets on the fifth day of a Test five times since the start of 2016. It is an alarming departure for a side who had apparently erased regular collapses from their resume. “The only thing I can say, it’s not a mitigating excuse at all, but that’s a young batting line up, obviously trying to find their way,” said Mickey Arthur, Pakistan’s coach.
The verdict Test matches in the UAE are known for speeding up on the last two days, but this was extreme. The first two innings of this Test took 11 sessions to complete. The remaining two were done in less than four. The nature of Pakistan’s capitulation at the end showed just how difficult the transition is going to be in the post Misbah-ul-Haq era.

In the village of Mevagissey in southwest England the housing stock has doubled in the last century while the number of residents is half the historic high.
