We love Rita Ora's artfully messy and angelic hair here, and this feather Ralph & Russo dress is certainly a statement. We never thought we'd like mint-to-white ombre peplum feathers so much. EPA -

Dua Lipa - who is coming to Abu Dhabi this weekend - also had a go-big-or-go-home moment on the red carpet, choosing pink frothy Giambattista Valli Couture (which is, to be honest, giving us 'mesh shower pouf' vibes). John Phillips / Getty Images -

Being an icon, Kylie Minogue can afford to keep it simple on the red carpet these days, and she chose a red satin Ralph & Russo trench, which we kind of wish was worn in a slightly more fastened and structured way. But then, it's Kylie, she can do whatever she wants. John Phillips / Getty Images -

Singer Jennifer Hudson looks fresh and sleek in this sheeny red Ralph Lauren. AP -

Haim, aka Este Haim, Danielle Haim and Alana Haim, wore Rodarte and, aptly, covered themselves in baby's breath (which is one of the brand's current signatures) while doing so. Getty Images -

Millie Bobby Brown is sometimes criticised for wearing clothes that are too sophisticated for a 14-year-old (we say she can do whatever she wants), but this Rodarte is definitely what people would call age-appropriate. She, unlike Haim, pooh-poohed the gypsophila headpieces (a good decision, we think). Getty -

The beautiful Maya Jama (the 4Music star also happens to be Stormzy's partner) wore a custom House of Holland dress in a shade that we shall describe 'our dream manicure colour'. Getty Images -

Hailey Baldwin (daughter of Stephen) looks sleek in this somewhat '90s sports-luxe Ralph Lauren dress. She can certainly work a column gown. AP -

British actress Anna Friel (who is excellent in 'Marcella' BTW) chose a bold-and-yet-whimsical Temperley London look for the event. Getty Images -

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby chose a white feather David Koma blazer dress - and, like many, chose to carry a white rose down the red carpet in solidarity with the Times Up movement. "We choose the white rose because historically it stands for hope, peace, sympathy and resistance," wrote the two music executives who coordinated the effort for both the Grammys and the Brits. "The world is listening. Wear a white rose." AP -

Singer Ellie Goulding went the retro prom dress route in Stella McCartney. AP -

Like Ellie Goulding, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Saint Laurnet was a shoulder-heavy '80s homage. AP -

Noomi Rapace is not the shy-and-retiring red carpet type and she chose a 'wearable arts' style dress by English designer Matty Bovan. AP
