Across the United States, people gathered at vigils honouring the victims of a shooting attack at a nightclub in Orlando that left 50 people dead and 53 wounded. Authorities say Omar Mateen opened fire early Sunday morning inside Pulse, a crowded nightclub. Mateen died in a gun battle with SWAT team members.
