Sheikh Tahnoun says Abraham Accord will contribute ‏to achieving peace in region

UAE National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed received Yossi Cohen, head of Israel's Mossad security service, who visited the Emirates on Tuesday.

Sheikh Tahnoun said efforts by Mr Cohen contributed to the success of the peace accord between the UAE and Israel.

He said the accord would contribute ‏to achieving peace in the region and open new opportunities for bilateral co-operation in several fields.

‏Sheikh Tahnoun affirmed that the UAE is committed to the principles of peace and tolerance, as well as promoting diplomacy that will contribute to the enhancement of stability in the region.

‏"The UAE will spare no efforts in delivering that goal,'' he said.

‏Sheikh Tahnoun said that rapid scientific and technological progress required a sincere quest for best possible practices and expertise from countries to ensure a better future for people in the region.
