Road improvments costing Dh28 million have been announced for Dubai Silicon Oasis.
The project aims to expand the existing roads infrastructure by about 2.7 kilometres.
Expansion work will include a filter for one of the exits from DSO heading on to Academic City Road.
The number of exits from DSO into this road will increase to three, with the construction of a new exit to allow easier access to the main roads around the area.
A lane is being added to the exit from Academic City Road on to Dubai-Al Ain Road to ease congestion.
