A Jet Airways Boeing 737 passenger plane slipped off the runway at Riyadh airport on Friday after the pilot aborted take-off

Flight 9W523 to Mumbai was carrying 142 passengers and seven crew. All guests were disembarked safely and no injuries were reported, the airline said.

Jet Airways said all passengers were taken inside the terminal and the airline was working on alternate travel arrangements. Flight services to and from Riyadh remain unaffected, it said.

Jet Airways referred the incident to its national aviation body, though Indian media reported that the pilot had spotted an object on the runway, braked hard and ran out of runway.
