Civilians urged to stay away from targeted areas in Houthi-controlled Sanaa
The Arab Coalition in Yemen on Monday launched attacks on military targets in the Sanaa and the northern province of Saada, Saudi state press reported.
Civilians have been urged to stay away from military areas in Sanaa, the Yemeni capital city, which is under control of the Iran-backed Houthi rebels fighting the internationally recognised government of President Abdrabu Mansur Hadi.
The coalition launched five air strikes on Houthi militia gathered in Ktaf district, in eastern Sadaa province, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
They hit the militia’s combat operations rooms in the same district.
The offensive killed an wounded an unidentified number of Houthi militants and destroyed the rooms, Spa said.
