A Swedish man has been arrested by anti-terror officers at London's Stansted Airport, the UK capital's Metropolitan Police said on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old had just disembarked a flight from Stockholm on Tuesday when he was stopped.
The Met said on Wednesday that he had been arrested on suspicion of possessing "material containing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism."
The man is being held in custody at a police station in Essex, north east of London.
