JERUSALEM // A small explosion has struck on a bus in central Israel, police say.
Israeli Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said no one was hurt in Sunday’s blast. He said it was unclear whether the bomb was planted by Palestinian militants or whether it was a criminal attack.
Mr Rosenfeld said the bomb was in a bag placed on the bus. The bus was evacuated after the suspicious object was detected, and the bomb exploded when police were examining the contents.
The incident occurred in the Tel Aviv suburb of Bat Yam, a town that has experienced criminal infighting in the past.
