ABU DHABI // Want an easy way to design your own package for this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix? Yas Marina Circuit has an app for that.

The GP venue has introduced YasHub, an application for smartphones and tablet computers.

Available for free at Apple's Appstore and Google Play, it will also give updates and news on all of the drivers, teams and the circuit.

Using a ticket selector, racegoers can choose their own package from a range of available options.

It includes choice of seating, food, beverages and entertainment, and Paddock or VIP access options.

“Being one of the most technologically advanced circuits in the world, it’s important that we are leading in customer engagement and digital publishing,” said Nick McElwee, director of sales and marketing at the circuit.

“Constant improvement of racegoers’ experiences is at the heart of what we do and YasHub takes this to the next level.

“Everything needed to maximise their enjoyment of the sport and the Grand Prix weekend is available at the touch of a button.”

The app also gives access to event schedules, competitions, autograph sessions, full entertainment details and happenings during the GP weekend.
