Women expatriates have been given advice on budgeting, spending and saving in a free session provided by Western Union.
The aim was to help them understand the basics of money management, plan their families’ futures and lift their socio-economic circumstances.
The programme for unskilled workers was offered at accommodations across Dubai to women from countries including the Philippines, Kenya, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
One participant said financial literacy had proved more beneficial than literacy.
