Three mosques that are being built in the Western Region should be ready for worshippers in the first quarter of next year.
The mosques, which will each be able to accommodate 400 worshippers, will be located in Madinat Zayed, Al Selaa and Al Mirfa.
The project is being undertaken in collaboration between the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Emirates Red Crescent.
Both parties signed a contract on Monday to establish the three mosques, according to Wam, the state news agency.
