AJMAN // New, multi-purpose wedding halls are being built by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in Ajman and other Northern Emirates.
The foundation hopes to use the facilities to encourage and support young Emirati people to marry.
According to an official from the foundation, another eight similar halls are being built in other parts of the north.
In addition to serving as a wedding hall, the facilities can be used for activities such as business meetings, seminars and conferences, the official said.
Ajman hall, which was designed with both tradition and modernity in mind, has more than 950 parking spaces and can host up to 1,400 people and provide 3,000 meals a day.
