Dubai plans for 25 per cent of all journeys to be self-driving by 2030.
The goal was set after Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Dubai Smart Self-Driving vision in 2016.
On Tuesday, Dubai Media Office shared a video showing a glimpse of the future.

The self-driving strategy developed by the Roads and Transport Authority will mean people will in future be able to plan trips using their phone.
The plan will also reduce cost of travel, minimise pollution and increase road safety.
