UAE weather: Warning over poor visibility

ABU DHABI // Motorists have been urged to use caution as poor visibility caused by blowing dust has been forecast across the country.

Moderate to fresh winds, strong over the sea, may cause blowing dust and sand, especially over the interior, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

Partly cloudy weather is expected to continue and temperatures are forecast to drop to a low of between 13°C and 18°C along the coast and reach a high of 24°C to 28°C.

In the interior, the forecast high is between 27°C and 31°C. The mountains will be relatively cool with highs forecast between 13°C and 19°C.

Relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning time over the coast and interior areas. It is forecast to reach a maximum of 55 per cent over the coast and 50 over internal areas.

Partly cloudy conditions over the coast and norther areas are set to continue until Thursday, according to the centre.
