Motorists were urged to take caution on Monday morning after dense fog across the country reduced visibility.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology reminded motorists to drive carefully and maintain a safe distance between other vehicles.
The weather bureau also reported that internal temperatures are expected to range between 39°C and 42°C, with humidity expected to increase overnight into the following morning.
