UAE weather: Temperatures to rise

ABU DHABI // Monday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with a gradual increase in temperatures.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said there will be moderate winds, which may freshen at times. Wind speed could reach up to 35kph along the coast.

In coastal areas, temperature will reach a high of between 34°C and 37°C and a low of 24°C. Further inland, the maximum temperature will be a high of 35°C to 39°C, and a low of 22°C.

Relative humidity is likely to increase at night and early Tuesday morning over some coastal and internal areas. It is forecast to reach a maximum of 85 per cent over the coast and over inland areas.

The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Residents can expect similar weather conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday as forecasters predict another rise in temperatures, light to moderate winds and an increase in relative humidity at night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas. Fog and mist may form.
