In spite of the persistent humidity, temperatures are dropping with the lowest temperature recorded overnight at Jebel Jais at 17.5°C.
Cloudy skies will make the temperatures feel more bearable around much of the country.
The National Centre For Meteorology and Seismology said light winds will feel refreshing around the UAE, though humidity overnight and in the early morning will continue, leaving a possibility of fog over some areas.
Early Wednesday morning, the centre had warned about fog and mist formation that could lead to poor visibility. Mist was reported over Sweihan at about 6.30am.
Waves in the Oman Sea and Arabian Gulf will be moderate on Wednesday, the centre said.
