UAE weather: Temperature falls as low as 2.5°C with cool winds to continue

Temperatures in the UAE hit a low of 2.5°C on Monday morning, recorded on Jebel Jais, with the winter weather now well settled in.

On Sunday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was in Dhudna at 27°C, at 4.30pm.

With cool winds still sweeping the country, waves reached heights of up to 3.5 metres offshore in the Arabian Gulf, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

Relative humidity will continue overnight with poor visibility in exposed areas hit by sandy and dusty conditions.

Fog will continue into Wednesday with temperatures rising again on Thursday, although windy and cloudy conditions are expected to continue throughout the week.
