UAE weather: Rain and cloudy skies persist

Scattered rain and cloudy skies will continue throughout the day with heavier rains expected in the northern emirates and along the coast.

Residents of central Abu Dhabi and Khalifa City woke up to rain which began at dawn and cleared by 8am.

Forecasters predict the weather will remain “unstable” throughout the week with temperatures hovering between 25℃ and 30℃ inland and between 23℃ to 27℃ along the coast.

Waters will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
