DUBAI // Motorists have been urged to drive carefully as visibility is expected to be low and conditions dusty and partly cloudy on Wednesday.
Rain is also expected in some parts of the country and temperatures could drop, with the weather expected to be unstable until Sunday.
On Tuesday, residents were greeted with overcast skies and some parts of Dubai also reported a little rain.
Meteorological officials have also advised people from going to sea as the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are forecast to be rough.
The northern and eastern regions are also expected to be cloudy.
“Moderate southerly wind, to fresh at times, will prevail over most areas, raising the dust and sand and decreasing the horizontal visibility over the inland regions in specific. Sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea,” the weather bureau said.
“Due to the expected deepening of cold upper air mass, this will intensify the instability in weather to become cloudy, in general, accompanied with different intensities of rain to the north, specifically.”
Weather officials said the northwesterly winds will accelerate over most parts of the country and will result in cooler temperatures over most parts of the country.
Officials said conditions could fluctuate from “cloudy to partly cloudy” and the chance of rain will remain.
