The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology is urging motorists to exercise caution on the roads, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles due to poor visibility expected over the next 24 hours caused by strong winds which will stir up sand and dust.
Visibility may be reduced to less than 2,000 metres at times in some parts of the country. Northeasterly winds along the coast may reach up to 37 km/h and up to 40 km/h in the interior.
