Residents can expect another hot day with hazy skies as temperatures and humidity continue to climb steadily across the country.
Conditions will be fair in general and partly cloudy, particularly over the eastern mountains during the afternoon, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology
Humidity will increase overnight leading to potential mist on Tuesday morning both inland and along the coast, early morning commuters are advised to drive with caution.
Temperatures will range between 20°C and 47°C inland with lows of 25°C and highs of 42°C expected along the coast.
The lowest temperature recorded today was 19°C in Damsa, a locality 35km in the west of Al Ain, at 5.45am.
The highest temperature recorded on Sunday was 48°C in Muzaira at 1.45pm.
Those looking to cool off in the sea will find waters have calmed considerably since the weekend and will be slight to moderate in general in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
