ABU DHABI // Hot, hazy and humid conditions will prevail across the country throughout the day, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology forecast on Wednesday.
Wednesday will be generally fair and partly cloudy over the eastern areas.
High temperatures along the coast are expected with a maximum of 41°C and low of 34°C, and a range of 41°C to 47°C is forecast further inland. In the mountains, temperatures will range from 31°C to 40°C.
Winds will be light in general, and relative humidity is likely to increase by night and early morning over the coast and inland. Fog and mist may form.
The maximum humidity will range between 70 and 95 per cent across coastal areas, 65 and 90 per cent in internal regions, and 30 and 50 per cent in the mountains, the bureau said.
Conditions will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
