Hazy weather and high temperatures have been forecast across the country on Sunday.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology forecast partly cloudy skies in the eastern and southern regions.
Light to moderate winds inland and over the sea causing blowing dust are expected on Sunday.
Temperatures in the interior are likely to reach a high of 48°C with a low of 24°C. The coastal areas will be only slightly cooler, topping at 46°C with a low of 24°C.
Relative humidity is likely to increase over the western coastal areas and may cause fog and mist.
The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
