ABU DHABI // Meteorologists have said fresh winds will stir dust, creating poor conditions on the roads on Thursday evening.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said the weather would be hazy and partly cloudy, especially in the east, while temperatures will decrease slightly.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed and leave enough space between vehicles in such conditions.
In the coastal areas, temperatures will reach a high of between 36°C and 44°C and a low of 26°C to 29°C. Inland, the maximum temperature will be 44°C to 47°C, and the minimum temperature will range from 26°C to 31°C.
Relative humidity is forecast to reach a maximum of 90 per cent over the coast and 80 per cent over inland areas.
Residents can expect hazy and partly cloudy weather over some areas this weekend, with a sight decrease in temperature. Fresh winds will stir up dust and sand and reduce visibility.
The sea will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea on Friday.
On Saturday, relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning, with a chance of fog, the bureau said.
