UAE weather: Cool weekend ahead

ABU DHABI // Residents can expect a cool weekend as temperatures continue to drop with clear skies and light breezes expected.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai will experience lows of 20°C and highs of 32°C during the day made tolerable by low humidity. ​

Temperatures farther inland will range between 16°C and 34°C with lows of 14°C and highs of 24°C expected in the mountainous regions.

Scattered clouds throughout the day should provide some shade which, coupled with slight winds coming from the north-east, will keep conditions mild.

Over the next two days, the weather should be mostly cloudy with light to moderate winds forecast around the country.

Those heading to the beach or out to sea can expect moderate conditions becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf with calmer waters forecast for the Gulf of Oman.

Cooler humidity will increase overnight leading to potential fog in the mornings.
