ABU DHABI // Motorists were urged to take caution while driving as temperatures rise and fresh winds cause blowing dust.
Relative humidity was expected to increase during the night and into the morning, especially over western coastal areas, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said on Wednesday. There is also a chance of fog.
Thursday and Friday will be hazy to partly cloudy with moderate to fresh winds causing more blowing dust, possibly reducing horizontal visibility at times over exposed internal areas, with moderate to rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
The temperature will average between 25ºC and 41ºC in coastal areas, and 26ºC and 48ºC in internal areas. On Tuesday, the temperature reached 50.5ºC in Sweihan, near Al Ain.
