UAE traffic: Roads clear, but drivers told to slow down in wet weather

Most major traffic routes were running smoothly on Tuesday morning with only minor hold-ups reported on the D63 in Dubai due to roadworks in Motor City.

Motorists there faced minor delays heading into Al Barsha, while the E10 in Abu Dhabi near the Eastern Mangroves was the only major route experiencing a build-up of traffic during the early morning rush hour.

Minor congestion was also causing slight delays on the D69 in Al Quoz.

With rain showers expected later in the day, drivers have been advised by police to slow down in areas of standing water.

The northern emirates and eastern parts of the country were most likely to experience wet weather and potentially hazardous driving conditions.
